A Derbyshire based company who are specialists in heavy structural steel projects such as bridges, gantries and balustrades currently require plater/welders.
The Role
Due to an increase in work load, and several contracts in the pipeline, we are looking to recruit plater/welders. For this role you will be a time served plater/welder who is able to MIG Weld, read engineering drawings and have experience of structural steel projects.

This is a post for a fully time served Steel Fabricator capable of working on tasks independently and demonstrating a previous relevant experience to work across a number of small - large sized projects based across the North East of England.
Candidates must be capable of starting immediately and would ideally be able to provide their own tool box, PPE Boots and overalls although this is not essential.
An ability to provide evidence of working within Fabrication would be essential, enabling a candidate to provide instant support to the teams already in place within our busy local client.

Job description
Right4Staff are looking for welders to work on-site for one of our Derby based clients on their night shift for an ongoing contract. It is a priority that you are used to operating overhead cranes and conversant with construction steel working if possible. Hours of work are 1800 - 06.30 and an overtime rate for night shift is given. You would normally be expected to work Monday - Thursday however due to volumes of work you may be expected to work Friday and Saturday.

Job description
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Temp Team Ltd., who are operating as an employment agency. Our client is a family owned company who provide structural steelwork to the construction industry and they are seeking a welding and fabrication inspector to join their established team.
The role will involve using a range of manual measuring equipment such as callipers, verniers and tapes to ensure the quality of the fabricated steelwork.
The ideal candidate will be a time served welder/plater from a structural steelwork background with a number of years experience in inspection. It is essential to hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship or qualification and have working experience in both welding and inspection, although no weld inspection qualifications are required. The salary will start at £9.36ph rising to £9.88ph on completion of a probationary period and a working week of 45.5 hours with overtime available.
