Our client is a world leader in specialist fabrication of Structural Steelwork. Constructing iconic building across the globe, they have offices in 10 different locations. Part of a larger construction group, this business is recognised for large scale projects, delivered on time and to budget.
The role
• Target Main Contractors and Clients and develop relationships with key personnel at Director and Procurement level
• Ensure your employer is on the tender list for all up and coming projects
• Develop business development strategy across UAE and GCC
• Manage bid and tender process for all projects
• Close all business at acceptable profitability
• Gain repeat business from all clients
• Explore new markets
The individual
• Must be working for a structural steelwork contractor
• Must be steeped in Main Contractor contacts either in the UK or globally
• Must be a relationship manager, developer and closer
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Must be willing to work away
• Must have a proven track record of success in closing business

Job description
Our client is a cash rich structural steelwork business which is part of a group. Due to expansion and increase in business won they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercially biased individual to look after the Commercial aspects of this award winning steelwork business.
The role
• Manage and motivate and develop a team of Commercial Managers
• Full P&L accountability for all the companies projects
• Must have contractual and commercial expertise at manager level
• Represent the business at BCSA meetings and to clients
• Increase profitability of all projects
• Ensure better relations with all clients
The individual
• Experience working for a BCSA affiliated Structural Steelwork contractor
• Experience at Commercial Manager level
• Strong management experience
• Exceptional contractual and commercial knowledge
• Ability to drive and develop a team
• Must have a structural steelwork background
