Production Manager – Structural Steelwork
Location: Lanarkshire, Scotland

We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Production Manager on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and well-established structural steelwork fabrication business.

The Role:
As the Production Manager, you will:
• Plan and coordinate workloads as they move through the fabrication workshop.
• Review and interpret fabrication drawings before production begins.
• Liaise closely with the wider management team to manage and progress workloads, including handling any revisions or variations to drawings.
• Attend daily production meetings to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping at all times.
• Monitor and audit tool costs, performance, and stock levels.

What we’re looking for:
To excel in this role, you will need:
• Extensive experience and understanding of structural steelwork fabrication.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• The ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• A proven track record of managing and motivating teams in a production environment.
