We are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Estimator for our clients highly-successful and expanding Steel Fabrication company.

A minimum of 5 years experience in Structural Steel estimating is essential, along with working on large scale, multi storey projects.

Senior Estimator duties include:
• Prepare and produce tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects in an accurate, detailed and timely manner to secure profitable work orders
• Work both individually and as part of a team; collaborating with estimating management, production management, site management and company directors
• Carry out material take offs, estimating all required labour, materials and equipment costs (including MEWPs and Crane costs)
• Liaise internally and externally as required, to ensure accurate pricing


Senior Estimator requirements:
• A degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in Structural Steel industry
• High level of familiarity of the UK Steel industry
• Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Live near/within commutable distance of the office – this is an office based role
