Due to planned growth we are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Transport/Logistics Manager to join a successful steelwork engineering business based in Edmonton, North London. There is a very competitive salary available (negotiable DOE), a rewarding career with future potential and a friendly working environment on offer.
Assistant Transport/Logistics Manager duties:
• Assisting the Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the day to day operation of the companies transport and goods in/goods out.
•Planning and coordination of materials, plant and equipment to and from various construction sites in and around London.
•Logging/recording data on the in house system.
•Communicating with suppliers and other external contractors as required.
Assistant Transport/Logistics Manager requirements:
•Prior experience working in construction/steelwork would be highly advantageous.
•Experience working in a transport/logistics related role would be highly advantageous.
•Be seeking a career in this field.
•Be seeking a permanent (PAYE) position and live in/within a commutable distance of Edmonton.
