Recruitment service continues to grow

The bespoke recruitment services of Steel Connexions Ltd continues to grow and the demand for the unique service we offer increases week on week with new clients across the whole of the UK.

"Whilst we still offer the job board facility to recruiters and clients alike, more and more of our clients are asking for a direct recruitment service because of our unique industry knowledge. I am being called day on day by steelwork companies across the UK asking for help, not just to find the right person, but to help screen candidates, qualify them and act as a learned addition to their own recruitment process. I spend a lot of time screening all candidates and many hours interviewing them initially via telephone and going through their CV, salary and career expectations and references alike before passing them over to a client - if they are suitable of course!. We do not just bundle CV's over to a client who use our recruitment service, we make sure the candidate is as close a match as we are able to the clients requirements - the testimony for the effort we put in pre-applicant introduction to a client is borne out with our success rate. I estimate that 70% plus of all applicants interviewed that we put forward are offered the position."
